Conway Building Co recently completed a full laundry renovation in Mittagong, transforming an outdated space into a highly functional, modern, and stylish area designed for everyday living. This project highlights our expertise in residential renovations, combining thoughtful design, clever storage solutions, and high-quality finishes.

The renovation began with the demolition of the existing laundry, including the removal of an existing window. A new external sliding door was installed, providing direct access to the outdoor area and improving flow and usability. The floor was stripped back and new waterproofing was installed along with electric underfloor heating and new tiles for comfort and longevity.

The manhole was relocated to the hallway with a flush-set cover, enabling overhead cabinetry to be extended to the ceiling and allowing the cornice to continue seamlessly over the joinery. The cabinetry was optimised for storage and practicality, featuring slide-out shelves and integrated bins to enhance usability.

Additionally, the existing laundry joinery was repurposed in the garage to create a workshop bench space with a sink and waste connection, maximising the functionality of the home.
