Tom started Conway Building Co out of a genuine passion for the construction industry. Working closely with clients to achieve their brief is something he takes great pride in, and no two projects are ever the same.

Conway Building Co thrives on projects that have their own individual style and character. The team actively seeks out the more complex and creative builds that push the boundaries of typical construction and demand something more than the ordinary.

Director Tom Conway is a licensed Builder and Carpenter with over 10 years of hands-on trade experience.

Tom is passionate about providing high quality workmanship with a personal approach to every building experience. Known for his attention to detail and direct communication, Tom works alongside each client from the very first conversation through to the final inspection.

Conway Building Co can recommend architects and draftsmen they have worked with and trust, and introduce engineers and private certifiers where required. From the planning stage, best building practices are implemented early to identify anything that could delay progress, saving clients time and money throughout the build.

Initial Consultation

Every project begins with an on-site conversation. Tom takes the time to understand the client brief, budget and timeline before anything else. If plans are not yet in place, Conway Building Co can connect clients with trusted architects and draftsmen they have worked with previously.

Planning and Quoting

Once plans are approved, a detailed and transparent quote is prepared. Anything that could cause delays or cost blowouts is flagged early. That upfront honesty saves everyone time and money down the track.

The Build

When Conway Building Co starts a job, they finish it. Tom is on site every day alongside the same trusted crew. Insurances, certifiers and council requirements are managed end to end, with consistent communication throughout.

Handover

Every project concludes with a thorough site walkthrough and a build the client is genuinely proud of. Conway Building Co remains on site until the job is fully complete and the occupation certificate is issued.

Using the same trades on every job, we achieve a higher quality finish while minimising mistakes and delays. We use our own carpenters and always have a manager on site.

Once we start a build we will be on site until it is fully complete and ready for the occupation certificate.
